2017 Highview Golf Course 3 Lady Champions
On the brisk-cold morning of August 19th the 3 Lady Scramble of the 2017 season was held at Highview Golf Course. Attracting over 140 players to sign up for the Ladies' tournament was a success but with rain falling the morning of, some were worried. The field finalized with 130 women continuing on despite the conditions. The course proved to be tough with only two Trios managing to break Par! The low score of the One-Day event was a Minus-5, 67 (Par 72) coming from the team of Sandy Deschenes (middle), Debbie Avery (left), and Katie Laporte (right). Congratulations to the 2017 3 Lady Champions (pictured above)! Coming in Second with the other under-par score was the team of Sandra Black, Dianne Bednarz, and Karen Waller shooting a Minus-2, 70. Several teams shot an Even-72 finishing out the Championship Flight!

This was the last of the 4 Major Tournaments at Highview in the 2017 season.
